Abstract

The number of illegal immigrants  has increased significantly in Libya in recent years, which has negatively affected various aspects of political, economic and social life due to the characteristics and qualities that immigrants carry that are reflected in the fabric of Libyan society and have led to an increase in the level of crime. This puts us facing the following questioning : -

What are the reasons behind the increase in the number of illegal immigrants to Libya? What measures should be taken to reduce illegal immigration? What risks can illegal immigration pose to Libyan national security? What is the position of Libyan law on it?
