Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between administrative development and job satisfaction in Libyan universities. A descriptive analytical approach was used to analyse data collected from questionnaires distributed to faculty members at Sabha University by 100 questionnaire the good for use was 91. The results showed a statistically significant positive relationship between the level of administrative development and job satisfaction. The study indicates that improving administrative policies, developing training programs, and implementing strategic plans lead to increased job satisfaction among employees. Additionally, the study confirmed that a healthy and supportive work environment, along with increased salaries and job benefits, plays a crucial role in enhancing job satisfaction.

The study included an analysis of current administrative policies and procedures in Libyan universities, identifying strengths and weaknesses. Efforts to improve administrative performance and develop it in line with international standards were also reviewed. The results showed that while there are efforts to improve administrative performance, further development and modernization are needed. The study also found that job satisfaction among faculty members is influenced by multiple factors such as work environment, salaries, development opportunities, and work-life balance. The results confirmed a positive relationship between the application of administrative development and job satisfaction, where improving administrative policies, developing training programs, and implementing strategic plans lead to increased job satisfaction. The study recommends the need to develop administrative policies to align with international standards, enhance continuous training programs for faculty members to improve their skills and capabilities, improve the work environment to be healthy and supportive, and increase salaries and job benefits for faculty members to achieve the highest levels of job satisfaction
