The principle of Shura and its impact on achieving political and social stability: an objective interpretive study

Abstract

The research aims to demonstrate the impact and contribution of the principle of Shura in achieving political and social stability, following the inductive approach through reading the Qur’anic texts and the noble Prophetic hadiths, and the analytical approach through explaining the texts. The research reached the most important results, including that Shura is an exchange of opinions and ideas based on the principle of compliance with God’s command to achieve public interests and reach desired results with an impact that achieves political stability by preventing tyranny, enhancing legitimacy, strengthening trust between the ruler and the ruled, containing differences, and achieving political and social justice. Shura is not merely a means of decision-making, but rather a sophisticated social approach that contributes to building a cohesive, just, and understanding society. Through it, social stability is achieved, the unity of the nation is preserved, and differences are managed with wisdom and mercy.
