Abstract

This study examines key faith-based values that regulate economic activity, including fear of God, integrity, trustworthiness, and honesty, and highlights their impact on economic behavior. It addresses several questions: the concept of faith-based values, their foundations in the Quran and Sunnah, their importance in human life, and their role in regulating economic activity. The research is structured into five sections. The first defines the main concepts. The second explores the value of fear of God (Taqwa), emphasizing its central role as a core element of faith that directly influences ethical economic conduct. The third section discusses integrity, showing how it is linked to achieving goodness and encourages sincerity and diligence in all actions. The fourth focuses on trustworthiness, demonstrating its strong connection to economic growth and commercial stability, extending beyond safeguarding property to include commitments, responsibilities, and positions. The fifth examines honesty, highlighting its role in aligning actions with divine guidance and ensuring truthfulness in all economic dealings. The study concludes that these values are essential for maintaining ethical and balanced economic systems. It calls for their active integration into modern economic practices, as they promote not only material benefits but also moral and spiritual well-being, ultimately contributing to sustainable development and long-term human prosperity in both worldly and spiritual contexts.
