Abstract

This study addresses the problem and significance of the existence of a gap between the presumed role of religious discourse in society and the growth of the phenomenon of illegal immigration. This study deals with the role of religious discourse in raising awareness in society and the necessity of enhancing awareness about the negative effects of illegal immigration, in addition to how religious discourse influences directing individuals away from this phenomenon. The research begins by defining the concept of illegal immigration and its social, economic and political causes.
