Abstract

The research addresses the significant role played by Libyan mujahideen, led by Fighters Khalifa bin Askar, against French colonialism in Tunisia. His impressive victories against the Italians in Libya prompted some southern Tunisian tribes to attempt to ignite a revolution against the French. After their attempt failed, they sought refuge with bin Askar, asking him for support to fight the French. He responded to the call and set out with a group of Libyan mujahideen to open a front against the French in Tunisia, in addition to his open front against the Italians in Libya. He achieved major victories in Tunisia, but these victories have not received their due in historical studies in Libya.
